Terms and Conditions for the Causal Map App
Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before using the Causal Map web application (available at app.causalmap.app).
There are separate T&Cs for QualiaInterviews.com.
AI features at Causal Map are disabled by default, are only enabled when you purchase an AI subscription and are subject to additional Terms and Conditions.
Causal Map is an online-only service, there is nothing to download or install.
Subscription terms and conditions
The following terms apply to both annual and monthly packages:
- You will be limited to the terms of the subscription you signed up for, in relation to the features available to you.
- You will be given advance notice of a repeat subscription payment approximately 7 days before payment is taken.
- When your subscription expires you will revert to a Free plan. Any non-archived files become publicly visible, so we suggest you archive them first. You can download your data in an Excel sheet at any time.
- Causal Map will retain all data in inactive accounts for 12 months, after which the data may be deleted. Please ensure that you have downloaded all data before this time as we cannot be responsible for storage beyond that date (12 months after a subscription has lapsed). You can start a new subscription at any time and upload the data into it to re-create files in future.
- No refunds are available on subscriptions, but your statutory rights are not affected.
- You can downgrade or upgrade a subscription at any point by logging into your LemonSqueezy customer portal. You will be billed pro-rata for any upgrades, but we may not be able to offer pro-rata refunds for downgrades.
Acceptable Use Policy (AUP)
Services provided by us may only be used for lawful purposes. You agree to comply with all applicable laws, rules, and regulations in connection with your use of the services. Any material or conduct that in our judgement violates this policy in any manner may result in suspension or termination of the services or removal of the user’s account with or without notice.
Prohibited use
You may not use the services to publish content or engage in activity that is illegal under applicable law, that is harmful to others, or that would subject us to liability, including, without limitation, in connection with any of the following, each of which is prohibited under this AUP:
- Phishing or engaging in identity theft
- Distributing computer viruses, worms, trojan horses or other malicious code
- Distributing pornography or adult related content or offering any escort services
- Promoting or facilitating violence or terrorist activities
- Infringing the intellectual property or other proprietary rights of others
Enforcement
Your services may be suspended or terminated with or without notice upon any violation of this policy. Any violations may result in the immediate suspension or termination of your account.
