The core functionality will be free for everyone: unlimited projects, unlimited coding. The main thing you pay for is if you want to keep your projects private (from £9/month) and then for additional features like reporting and AI.

Uploading and managing data

We've simplified how you import and manage sources (you no longer have to break your text into 'statements'). Plus, you can now add custom columns for your sources (like gender, location) with a simple spreadsheet-like interface.

And no more worries about large and complex projects! Cm4 can cope with thousands of source documents seamlessly.

Users on the Team plan can now opt to code together collaboratively and see the other users' links appear and change live on the map, making it useful for workshops or joint analysis. You can also do interactive stuff like drag one factor onto another to create a link.

Humans first, AI next

We keep AI optional and obvious. The standard software handles full analysis and visualisation without it. To use AI (coming soon) you have to specifically select an AI-enabled plan. Nothing happens automatically. You then have to physically click to trigger the AI for coding assistance, clustering labels, and for the AI Answers feature. We provide editing tools so you can inspect and correct the output.
